This life sized muscular model of the left arm offers an unprecedented insight into the structure and form of the muscles of the arm. This model features high quality, hand painted muscles, displaying the sinews and muscle fiber clearly. Each of the 84 features of the arm are labeled clearly, allowing a thorough study of each of the muscles, as well as arteries and nerves of the arm. The model offers 6 detachable pieces:
• Deltoid muscle
• Biceps brachii
• Brachioradialis with extensor carpi radialis longus and brevis
• Pronator teres with palmaris longus and flexor carpi radialis
• Extensors digitorum, digiti minimi, and carpi ulnaris
• Superficial palmar arch
Each structure is clearly labeled and corresponds to the accompanying detailed key. Among the numbered structures are the arteries and nerves of the arm, including brachial artery, the interosseous arteries, and the radial and ulnar nerves. The bones of the arm are also labeled. The arm does not display flexibility.
