At roughly 5x life size, this model can be dissected into 7 pieces. Its eggshell white color allows for strong contrast between the illustrated structures, making study and patient education simpler.

This multi-part structure allows for strong potential for study of both the internal and external structures of the eye. The eye is bisected easily, and, once open, allows for observation of the internal features, including the central retinal artery and vein. The optic nerve is also visible.
